Are you interested in knowing what we can accomplish? Very well! We invite you to take a look at a few examples of our past achievements.
Perhaps you will find a source of inspiration for a future event! Enjoy the tour!
The air was electric that night! The participants of no fewer than four concurrent conventions on electricity gathered under a marquis tent in Old Montreal to savour a fabulous meal and a private performance by the Cirque. May the show begin!
This winged visit from Quebec city surely inspired the participants to come visit us again! At a moment’s notice, JPdL organized the perfect day: a helicopter tour of the city plus a visit to the Botanical Garden and the Olympic Park. Why bother with streets if you have wings?!!
For a week Montreal played host to 13 000 psychiatrists, 3 000 more people than expected! Happily, this unexpected turnout simply added to the success of the event, with JPdL seamlessly coordinating transportation, housing and services for all the convention participants.
Over 600 people were dressed in their finest attire to dance and feast in the unique tradition of New France. Period costumes, a festive atmosphere, minuets; all contributed in creating an unforgettable evening!
Admire this old church, transformed for the occasion into a magnificent dining room for 70 people with all guests seated at the same table. It felt just like a royal banquet! How could anyone not be impressed by all this decorum? How could anyone not feel privileged to experience this moment, worthy of a fairytale?
What could be better than a race to get into shape? It’s good for the morale, it’s good for the body and it encourages us to challenge our limits. The participants who ran 5 km through Old Quebec’s steep streets, the fortifications and the Plains of Abraham can tell you all about it!
What could be better than savouring a mouth-watering meal and discovering fabulous wines in an enchanting setting? Our superb wine region rivals the Napa Valley, situated on Niagara-on-the-Lake, where participants in guided tours are given the opportunity to admire, discover, eat and drink!
For its participants, this gala supper was a unique opportunity to explore the streets of Toronto around a gourmet table. The goal? Illustrate the city’s ethnic diversity such as Chinatown, Little Italy, Little India and the Greek quarter. The unexpected is always around the corner!
There is nothing better than a wholesome competition blending entertainment and the chance to outdo yourself! Not only did the participants of this exciting dragon boat race work together to win the race, but they were also fortunate to have enjoyed an extraordinary day and the spectacular view of the city of Toronto.
The Project:
The hiring of a private train dining car for an executive transfer between two cities sounds simple enough. What if the last passenger train to roll through these parts was in the late 60’s? The Press Launch for the new LR3 was set to have the participants test drive the new vehicles throughout a number of different terrains for the afternoon and then board a luxury train about 2 miles from the middle of nowhere for their return to Montreal.
The Solution:
Working with VIA, Quebec Gatineau rail lines, CN, CP, three different municipalities and a number of executives in both private industry and public service, JPdL successfully secured the 56KM section of track required for this transfer. The event went seamlessly, aside from the confusion of the old timers in the region who were understandably surprised to see a train chugging through their fields for the first time in 40 years.
The Project:
What do you do when you when you are launching a new winter tire but Mother Nature decided that for the first time, the snow wouldn’t fall? This was the case for one of North America’s leading tire manufacturer’s during the January press launch of its latest winter tire. Months of effort were required for the specially designed thirty-acre test track along with a 6 KM rally course months in the making, but 72 hours prior to the event… not even a dusting of snow. As if that wasn’t enough, it is important to note that the track is located 15KM in the deep woods on a hunting and fishing reserve without any electricity available and the closest body of water over 3 KM away. Conventional solutions just wouldn’t work.
The Solution:
With peak ski season leaving us only very limited equipment availability, JPdL, using its extensive local connections and ingenuity, managed to assemble and dispatch a blizzard-like solution even Mother Nature would be proud of. A small fleet of 40 000-gallon tanker trucks, snow cannons, groomers and a generator that could power a small city were on site making snow within 8 hours of the original S.O.S. 16 inches of fresh power was put down and groomed just in time for the arrival of the participants. No one was the wiser and the event was a success, mentioned in several newspapers and automotive magazines.
